Racing Lane Line Holders

Design
One-piece stainless steel Holder for installation in the poolside, the top being flush with the level of the poolside tiling. This fitting allows storage of anti-turbulence Racing Lane Lines in the undercroft or swimming pool basement, and removes the need for large unsightly storage trolleys for racing lane lines on the poolside during competitive swimming events.

Specification
Manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel for strength and durability. Comprises square hinged top with hook on the underside to hold the racing lane line, and an integral tube through which the racing lane line is fed from the poolside into the undercroft.

Top
The piano-hinged top has a matt non-slip finish for safety, and a watertight rubber joint. It is lockable by means of an allen key. The top may measure 250mm x 250mm (10" x 10"), however these dimensions may be varied or modified in case of need.

Tube
The length of the tube should be approx. 25mm longer than the depth of the pool slab, so pool water can drip away from the concrete slab. The tube diameter of approx. 150mm (ref. VDH940150B) is suitable for standard 100mm dia. racing lane lines, whilst the larger tube (ref. VDH940200B) approx. 200mm diam. is appropriate for jumbo lane lines. The outside of the tube has a Scotch-Clad finish for improved bonding, and a 35mm earthing lug is fitted at the base of the tube.

Installation
May be cast-in at the time of construction of the pool slab, however achieving the correct level with the poolside tiling may be difficult. Can be retro-fitted (usually the preferred option).

Storage Bags

Description
Designed to be suspended from the underside surface of the pool slab directly underneath the VDH Racing Lane Line Holder. Storage Bag ref. 11650 for standard 25m and ref. 11660 for standard 50m racing lane lines, ref. 11670 for jumbo 25m and ref. 11680 for jumbo 50m racing lane lines. Manufactured from 400 gram strengthened PVC material, with a plastic eyelet in the bottom for drainage and one plastic eyelet in each corner for hanging. A set of fixings comprises an acid-resistant S hook, screwed hook and expansion cartridge, and four sets of fixings are required for each Storage Bag.
